Off to a good start.....

The Giants are now 22 games into the season; their record is 12-10. They are in second place in the National League West. 3.5 games behind the first place L.A Dodgers.

In my opinion, the Giants are off to a pretty good start. In this case, baseball is almost like running a marathon. You would not want to start out really fast because you would get tired quicker; it is the same with baseball. The Giants have started out slowly, but they will soon pick up speed (besides they are not even half way into the season.)

Besides all this, Buster Posey has resumed his usual excellence offensively and defensively. Posey has played in 19 games. He has 4 home runs, 9 RBI's, and his batting average is .353. It almost seems as if Posey was not injured at all. Who would have expected him to resume where he left off this early in the Season?

Posey has also been playing at first base quite a bit, therefore allowing rookie Hector Sanchez to familiarize himself behind the plate.

It will be a year since that horrific day on May 25, but with the way Posey has beem playing, it would seem it never happened.
