Giants acquire Scutaro.

On Friday the Colorado Rockies traded Marco Scutaro to the Giants. In return, the Rockies received [Giants prospect]  infielder Charlie Culberson.

Scutaro can play any infield position.
Right now, Bochy is having him play third base, since Sandoval is on the disabled list (with a strained hamstring), but it is very likely that he could move him back and forth from first to third.

Hopefully Scutaro will be be a good game changer. At  the moment many Giants fans may be a little upset, since the Dodgers just swept the Giants, and are now tied for first place.

But the Giants have had a pretty good second half....
I'm not worried just yet.
There is still plenty of baseball left to be played.

In 2010, the Giants were looking up to the Padres most of August and September.
And then of course, it came down to the very last game, when they clinched the West.
